Collecting Donations

HOW TO DONATE

If you have food that you'd like to donate to the foodbank please use the Foodbank Donations Boxes in our church porches.

All food donations can be taken to either:

  • St James’ Church, Elstead

  • St Mary’s Church, Shackleford

  • St Nicholas Church, Peper Harrow

  • St Michael and All Angels Church, Thursley

Please put non perishable food and toiletries in this box for collection by the Foodbank and distribution on Thursday mornings. 

Many thanks in advance for your donations. Without the generosity and support of Elstead Village residents and businesses we simply wouldn't be able to help those in greatest need.

 

Certain items are currently in great demand. Click here to see what food and household items are most needed.

CORPORATE DONATIONS - THE ADVANTAGES

If you are a business owner and would like to support the Elstead Foodbank, there are advantages to donating as a limited company including paying less corporation tax. According to the governments website - https://www.gov.uk/tax-limited-company-gives-to-charity - donations can include:

  • Money

  • Equipment or trading stock

  • Land, property or shares

  • Sponsorship payments

​

You can also claim tax relief by deducting the value of your donations from the total profits before you pay tax. 

​
